No One.

There will be no one to catch you when you fall,
No one to care when you cry –
No one to keep you from building a wall
That’s much too high – too high.

No one will care when the light goes out
In the eyes so bright of yore –
No one will hear if you cry or shout
Or knock on friendship’s door.

Yes, no one at all when the times are bad
And none when you need them most –
No one to help you at all when you’re sad...
None. You are lost – too lost.
