Let me grasp one moment
From the swirling storm of Time,
Hold it safe and precious
In a monument of rhyme;
Turn it gently over,
Learn its thought and let it go,–
Moving on, regretless,
As the tired ages flow.
Some sweet moments linger
In the thunder-thick of life,
Thoughts so brave and gentle
‘Mid the saga of the strife.
These have been omitted
From a tongue-tied poet’s rhyme –
Yet they live forever
In the memory of Time.

Bravo pour tes poèmes! Il me semble qu'ils deviennent de plus en plus sophistiqués.;) Mais c'est bon signe! Continue comme ca. Tout de bon et à une prochaine!:)
When I read this poem, I thought of Chloe! ;-) Thank you so much for this! I need another framed poem of Time (do you remember giving me that one back on Christmas when I was in KC?) :)
:) Linds, I'd forgotten that, actually! I'm sure your calligraphy would do the poem complete justice, if you had the time!
Thanks for your comments, both of you! It's encouraging to hear replies.
Wow. This one is GOOD!!! All of these poems are good in their own right, but this one is VERY good.
Excellent, JMR!
